An individual, a family, a business or an organization can establish a Named Fund and this allows the holder of the fund to direct the income from their fund to a charity of their choice. If it’s a charity that is establishing the Fund, they can have the income returned to their own organization to assist with their operating expenses. Another option is to direct the income to the Vanderhoof Community Foundation to add to our funds that are available to grant each year.

Make a Cheque Donation
Make a donation via cash or cheque to: Vanderhoof Community Foundation and mail to Box 1711, Vanderhoof, BC V0J 3A0.
Make an Estate Planning Donation
Work with your Accountant and/or Lawyer to make a donation to the Foundation when you are doing estate planning.
Host a Fundraising Event
Host your own fundraising event through your school, workplace or with a group of friends and donate the proceeds to the Foundation.
Develop a Lasting Legacy
Honour a deceased loved one by developing a lasting legacy in their name that will be a constant reminder of the devotion this individual had for their community.
Make an Automatic Donation
You can make automatic donations from your paycheque. Encourage your employer to join you in matching your contributions. Contact us to get this set up.
